Re: 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R

the best thing about those 7Rs were you could set it on a line anywhere in the corner and it felt like you could let go of the bars and it would stay perfectly in line where it was going. that bike felt like the definition of "it feels like its on rails"

Wow. Look at that exhaust. The bodywork is much more angular and less bulbous than their recent offerings. The shark gills aren't as pronounced when done in black like this. More info here:

Funny, the fairing looks like the Honda when painted like that.

I like the hugger, the factory rim stripes, and the swingarm. I don't like the "hawk beak" nose, the general lines, the tail comes up really high, and that can is just plain odd.

Weird-lookin... Look how they hung the indicators off the mirror stalks. A lot of sharp creases combined with weird curves and that blunderbuss exhaust.

The 250 is awesome!

I kinda like the 10. Not gaga like the 1098, but so far so good. The turn signals I agree are bizarre in that location.

Re: 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R

Just caught the part about the traction control on the new 10. I think it is going to become a necessity on the new liter bikes.

Fits the rest of the bike real well. The thing looks like it's cross eyed.

No, use these instead: ConvertiBARS
Then it will be plenty comfy, and you should go right ahead and get one

I think it is way worse than Honda and I think the Honda is goofy looking.

I have found my views on what is a good looking bike to be different from most people, so comments like this usually indicate to me that I am being true to myself.

The Honda is growing on me, the more I look at it the more I like it.

Re: 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R

the nose reminds me of BrundleFly.

I think this thing is pretty close to awesome looking. the mirrors/signals and exhaust are easily replaceable but the whole cross eyed face looks funny. track plastic would cure that deformity though.

the 250R looks freaking amazing. makes me almost want one.

Speaking of this, someone at kawiforums wrote that the new 250 looked like it had been beat with an ugly stick and he loved his '07. It takes all kinds...

Are you serious? This is the first time in history that it has looked like a real bike. My bro-in-law rides an '06 so I've had plenty of time to look at them. My wife has said she wants to start riding and that new 250 has made me want to get her started.
