Kawasaki Zephyr.
I owned one form 2000-2003. It was a 1990 550cc four cylinder Kawasaki Zephyr. For the daily commute to Florida International University, some 15 miles, it was perfect. I'm sad I had to let her go but continuous timing belt problems made it too hard to keep up with.
Besides, it served its purpose since my wife started to trust me after riding it for two and a half years without any incidents. Given my record in the past, with several visits to the hospital, some with extended stays, I am amazed that she let me buy the RR. Anyways, about the Zephyr, it had a design that it always appealed to me. I can't put my finger in it but something about it felt right. More so on the 750 or even the 1100 but I couldn't find any of those used for sale in Miami. I would like to get one of those again, soon. Preferably a 750. Sorry for the rant. I somehow needed it.
