To the guy riding the blue ZX9R today.

....Know that I hereby dub thee, Sir Dumbass.

Trying to split lanes in California is ok. Trying it in NH, on the double yellow, not so much.
Tailgating my pick-up truck in heavily congested traffic, not a very good idea.
Swerving from double yellow to white line as if you were scrubbing in your tires, really wasn't that impressive nor was your choice of riding gear which included a pair of jeans, t-shirt, sneakers and a baseball hat.
Even better were the multiple times you placed yourself right beside the rear quarter panels of my truck on the two lane road with two way traffic...there were moments I even considered punting you off into the sticks...or oncoming traffic. I refrained from doing so. Somebody else might not have.
When the road opened up into two lanes in each direction you sped up and started weaving between vehicles....and after a half mile or so got stuck in traffic where I promptly passed you, again. You sure did get nowhere fast, huh?

Oh yeah, nice 20 Day tags.

Welcome to Bike Week in NH. Now go home. The Harleys aren't impressed either.

I really have no interest driving or riding in anything around the Lakes Region during Bike Week.

True but that's beside the point. And I was happy for several minutes today.

You'll be happier Monday or Tuesday when that priority mail package shows up

I had fun getting the GS inspected today, while listening to the guy in front of me with the 08 1k gixxer get told by the inspection dude "uh, you know you're rear pads are almost down to metal?" It's one of the many conversations like this that make me cringe.

There was a guy behind me on a red Gixxer a couple days ago doing very similar things. I gotta give him credit, at least he had a helmet on; granted it didn't have a visor. Oh, he had race plastics on the bike, too with no lights of any sort. He did have a properly mounted license plate though.

I've seen a couple of idiots this past week up there in NH. but for the most part all the riders I've seen have been very well behaved.

It's been an very slow start to Bike Week so far. Normally there are packs of bikes everywhere you look. This year....not so much.

Welcome to Billings ... where almost everyone on a sportbike (and cruiser, for that matter) rides like this. Now you know why I call it the "Tragic City."

Have you been to Billings? It gives Butte a run for its money. At least in Butte, you are surrounded by mountains and plenty of twisty canyons ... Then again, you have look at the Berkeley Pit every day. I guess one can't win.

The pit is the cornhole itself... Ya Billings is a bit of a hole too... we spent a night there on the way home from Grattan last year. Helena, OTOH... nice town.

Anyone else find it odd that we're likening towns in Montana to parts of the human anatomy while eschewing vegetable nomenclature? I do!

And now you know one of the many reasons why I call it "The Tragic City." Though Helena is alright. I guess I got spoiled living in Bozeman for almost ten years...

Anyone else find it odd that someone from Montana just used the word 'eschewing' in a sentence...correctly?

Good show, good show...
