Pics of the newly painted ZX-10
So, here's how it turned out. My buddy has an '07 GSXR 1000 Black/copper. And he wanted his track plastics to kinda match his original paint. I planned on going straight black (like I always do for my bikes; as I've said before, I went to the Henry Ford school of coloring for bikes). But as he was painting I kinda liked the copper and had him do my front and part of my rear fender with the copper. I figured it'd be easier to spot on the track, too. Sure, it's not a "Kawi color" but meh, who cares.
Hopefully I can get some stickers on there soon! They feel like they wont destroy my leathers, and yet should provide solid grip: http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_6655.jpg PS, I tried to embed the pics in the thread so you wouldn't have to click links, but the "img" command didn't seem to work. Could somebody inform me how to embed the pics for future reference? Thanks. |

I like the paint, but it's obviously scaring the hell out of that kid!

Nice! Now add a Bimota Silver Honda wing on the sides and she'll be perfect!

That really looks sharp. I'd have never thought of combining those colors, but it works.
Love the kid/bike pics. I've got a few of those myself. |

Sweet
Looks like a nice job on the paint, too.
