California/Nevada Saddle Sore 1000

"Palmdale to Primm". Did this last weekend. Milage is at 1088. I would suggest this as a summer ride, I hit snow and sub-freezing temps in the passes. I have a GPX track if anyone wants it.

99 eh? Damn, that's a lotta slab!

Next time run it a bit more west in the Bay Area, I think it's my turn to pay for dinner.

No, less than an hour on the 99. The detail on the map is poor. Basicaly its the 14 to 178 to Kernville. Up the kern river through some back highways and pop out on the 99 at Porterville. Up the 99 to Fresno where you hit the 41 to the 49. 49 all the way till you hit the 80 to Reno. From there to Fernely to Fallon and catch the 95 all the way back to Vegas.

Crap, not enough detail.
Although now that I look at it again that is pretty clear, you were way too far north and dropped into Vegas from what looks like 93, but can't be sure.

Did you do the documentation and all to get the certificate? Looks like a good route though Of course for the wool butt 1000 you have to it again on a sportbike (not a sport tourer like an interceptor)
