I want to be there when the first squid rolls one of these puppies off the show rooom floor, not knowing about the C-ABS, tries to pull a stoppie - only to be befuddled by the electronics.

    And wait for it ...

    Electronics are ruining stunting. Yo.

Cool. But there is NO WAY I would pay $1000 MORE for a bike that won't do a burn out... or a stoppie(in a controlled area of course)

Sounds like they hit the nail on the head with it, I would not dare try that on the VFR.

Check the Dollar vs Yen in that time.

On point though... I'd like to try one of these on a track.

Looks pretty interesting. I thought the added weight would be more of a factor, but apparently not.

Squids are still going to wipe out leaving the dealer's parking lot on new tires and whacking the the throttle hoping to impress complete strangers...

As my first street down involved a two minute rain, a yellow light and an anxious cross street driver anticipating the green, I could have really used this technology. I just wonder how reliable the electronics vs. mechanical will be.

Oh, and I really like the looks of this bike!

Does this model come with a kickstand auto-extender too? I'm sure that could prevent lots of "issues".
I have CDO. It's like OCD except the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.

Being a Honda, I think they might have run one or two tests to find out if this new system is convenient or not. But being a Honda, they might have gone the way of the Dodo bird and made it very safe to ride, and slower on the track.
I'll wait and see, but other than the weight increase I don't see anything but improvements with this.

    22 lbs of extra weight??

Regardless, at $11 grand, I won't be shopping for one. I'd rather spend the extra $1-$2k for the 848.

I can only wait for Yamaha to follow suit with a similarly well developed system

I think this hardware could segue into some pretty kickass traction control.
