...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG
This is all you need to know. No price named. Grey market from Japan so no title. Currently tagged as a '73 VFR since pre-'75 don't require titles in 'Bama.

Edit: Will beat me to the punch. He did mention a price range though.
I know in Cali. good ones go for about 5 to 8 gs depending on condition. But we are in a shitty economy so i am not sure. I would like to have a 996 or 998 so i would look at trades but sorta need the money so i dont have to work so much. More pics will come this friday when i have some spare time.
Depending on where in AL he is, I could go look at it, mediate the purchase and provide permanent climate controlled garage storage with "preventive maintenance runups".

I saw this bike and I'm just posting it in case someone is interested.
IF someone is interested? IF?
I wonder what else he might take in trade, because I'd definitely have to get rid of a couple ... but that could be arrange. That is a sweet bike and the economy is rough
Thanks for a few sweet dreams

Does this one blow up your skirt. If you have a Speed Triple
laying about that will make a good trade Mine carries a
proper current VFR title good for registration in all states ,,,,,,, (post edited to keep you legal ) see below.

How about a very nice RC51, or '94 VFR plus KDX200 or XR100 ???
No Triumphs in the house.

Well, for one, what's the difference between an NC30 and an NC35?
What year is this one?
How many miles does it have?
Where does one get decent rubber for an 18" rear wheel, and will the rim/swingarm accept anything larger than a 150?
425 lbs curb weight for a 65-70 hp bike? That's heavier than my SV... (I'm doing my best to throw logic in the way of passion - how am I doing so far?)
Think of them as smaller brothers of the RC30 and RC45...

Sure is pretty, though.
As the RC30 was eventually replaced by the RVF750R (RC45), the VFR400R NC30 evolved into the RVF400R NC35, which was produced between 1994 and 1996. This model featured inverted forks and an updated racing-style fairing.
The bike it titled as a 1989. Mileage really doesn't apply to these.
What I mean is being a grey import bike you just cant be sure that
the odo is the one that the bike was born with. Thats why on all the
ads all over the net for this bike I don't list how many K it as. As for
the weight it rides so differently than an SV. You simply do not notice
what it tips the scales at. When your sitting on the bike and take if
off the stand it feels like its in the low 300s.
Tires, I thought the same thing but you can find all sorts of tires. It
currently has Conti Road Attack rear 160 with a Sport Attack front.
Tires are not an issue, if you were going to race the bike I would
suggest getting a 17 rear, they sell for 250 on ebay and are often
listed by a fella in CO.

Geez man, how about your first born too.
Honestly guys, the reason for the sale is I was hurt on
my job nealy cutting my body in half by a steel cable to
the low back, about the belt line. So, riding this thing
as little as 100 miles kills me to the point of keeping me
in bed for 3 days after. So, I set out to find something
I liked that was cozy to ride and the Speedie fit very
well. If I had the money to just by a Triple and keep
this I would. But as they say my loss is your gain.

the only argument I'm hearing is, "I don't know much about these but if I had one I'd learn everything"
while that seems like a good price I'm still holding out for the RVF.

I won't jack your sale conversation but WOW! Glad you were not paralyzed in the accident. Terrible that it happened and you have lingering effects though.

I keep up with the market for both the NC30 and 35, a good
friend of mine in Cali(bay area)has 2, 35s and just sold a
museum quality 35. It was not titled and had less than 3k
miles. It sold for 5k with not title, with a title that bike brings
8k easy. One with a pile of miles will easily bring 7 with a
title. Whats often misunderstood is that the tiltle on these
bikes is worth no less than 2k.

THANKS, and yes I am very lucky to be alive let alone walk.
Hey whats up, that is my bike, and it is definately for sale at the current moment since i need the money to buy an R1 from my buddy. I know the R1 doesnt have the soul of the NC but it is a very good deal,,,,Anyways it is tagged as a 73 but not titled because well i dont have one that is in English. Lots of Extras $5500.00 now thats a deal. Anyone got a Good Vtwin street bike out there.
Nancy wanted to know why I was swearing loudly last night - and the TV wasn't on.
I don't know much about them, really. Have been lusting after the RC30 for many years.
One thing I know is that shimming the valves is a f*cking nightmare. Tweezers, a mirror and three very small hands. and if you drop the shim it goes straight down the cam chain tunnel
Word on the street is a that well sorted NC30 is a match for a NC35. The racers over here dump the 30's 18" back wheel and find one from a NC35. Like rocking horse manure though.
Slightly different carbs (bigger I think on the NC30)
Forks on both bikes need work.
Brilliant bikes, a hoot on the track, and at the right circuit will easily embarrass the big boys. But so gutless that road work can get tiresome and in my case dangerous. All or nothing, so every ride becomes a full on mission in an attempt not to have to slow down for anything. Just keep it pinned. I had to sell mine before it killed me. It tried more than once.
A worthwhile excuse methinks...CBRTZNCVFR needs this beek... There's probably less than 1%* of all moto-freaks blessed with the physical attributes to work with this bike, seems almost criminal to squander the gift...
