    2008 CBR 1000RR

    Has anyone heard anything about the 2008 CBR 1000RR. A local dealer told me that Honda wont redesign until 2009. He may have been just trying to make a sale...following current convention we would be due for a new 1000rr in 08. Anyone have an inside track?

    If Honda follows the current trend it will incorporate a lot technology from the new 600RR.

    My brother's wife's hairdresser's brother who's a bartender at a restaurant that a janitor's wife from Honda frequents told me that the 1000RR is being discontinued and being replaced with an 800RR with 220hp at the wheel, traction control, slipper clutch, gets 90mpg and only requires tires once a year.

    I think we can expect to see a lot of the features and style of the 07 600RR. Anything you hear between now and August-ish will be mostly hearsay though.

    I also heard that with the exception that it comes with Tomahawk tire, color of your choice, and will last as long as the bike itself
