Help changing spark plugs.

This is the first time I'm changing the spark plugs on a 2005 CBR 1000RR.
I've been following the service manual and I've just hit a step I can't figure out.
Step 12 or so:
"Remove the intake air duct mounting screws.
Remove the intake air duct from the air cleaner housing."
The first part involves two screws, one on each side of the bike. At least that's all that I can see. The second part of this step is where I'm having the problem. I can't remove the air intake duct. I'm guessing this is the whole plastic thing containing the flapper, right? Is there a trick to it?
Do I need to remove the tank cover and loosen something from the top of the air box?
Help please.

Wow!!! No wonder no one responded yet...
The frickin air box is four separate pieces with a whole lot of screws .
All that to filter and ram air into the cylinders?
Finally, I removed the whole top part of the air box and have got access to the spark plugs. I hope I can remember where all the parts go back into.

Sorry, I was out all day or I would have warned you.

Thanks man. The intention is what counts.
I talked to TB8 and after walking away from the bike for a few minutes I was able to figure it out. I must admit I doubted myself several times.

For the service manual...
