RC FI light on

So in the last two sessions at Baa-rber the speedo on the RC quit. Also the FI light came on (steady). The light would go out on key off but when speed got up come back on. Everything looks plugged in and OK. Runs fine also. I am thinking Speedo healer. Any other ideas to look at when I start searching tonight?

If the speedohealer got reset or something, it could be an "out of range" error light.

I think there is a way to get the codes out, but I've never had to look into this myself. If you can get the bike to tell you what it thinks is wrong, this would be a good start. Other than that, look for loose/broken wires.

Good luck.

Why would you need the following on a track bike?

Speedo
Speedo healer
Stuffed Toy
Blue Paint

GT702, doesn't that sound like an early r/r issue?

Speedo == Really a don't care but without it I got no odometer which I use to determine refills
umm that's what lap timers are for . . .
Speedo healer == not an issue at all it was on there for street use and will go in the garbage if this is it
now you're beginning to make sense
Stuffed Toy == he only rides parade laps now but did mumble something about anthrax the twig
ummm maybe not . . .
Blue Paint == more power
for Makita tools, perhaps . . .
