Sharp looking bike. Hopefully it really does make it to the US!

Everything old is new again. For the money they're likely to want for it I'd rather look around for a 1980 KZ1000

That's a sharp looking bike, Hammer. Does it see the road or is it more of a collector's item?

Bought it as a commuter when i worked in Indy a few years ago. Rode it for about a year. Bought the954 and it has been put up since. I have not gotten it out for about 2 years now. I need to get it out and rebuild the carbs and replace the battery. I just do not ride it anymore. Rides nice though, but it is heavy.

I'm surprised and excited that we may be getting the CB1100F here in the US! That would also mean we can expect the CB1100R!
I know people have differing opinions on the trend of retro styling among bikes and cars, but I'm all for vehicles with classic styling and modern (i.e. reliable, available) components.

What kind of infection do you want the fuel to have?

I think in the next few years, all new bikes wanting to be street legal will have EFI for emissions reasons. I know some of the Triumph Bonneville faithful have been bitching about it.

Last I read, I believe in cycleworld or sportrider, that Honda decided that it was too expensive to produce. If this was true, It would be a shame. It would be high on my "next bike" list.

I'm surprised to hear that. I figured they'd grab most of the components from the parts bin.

"Too expensive" to build the CB1100F, but they have no trouble dumping this goofbeast onto the market:
