Welcome to the site. Some/most of the members will be at a trackday so resonces may be limited but do not let that discourage you from sticking around.

Rode motorcycles most of my life.Got into ultralite aircraft and recumbent tricycle /bicycles got into the bussiness of it.Now I am back into motorcycles and love to ride.I feel that the ST1300 has been the perfect bike for me. 45,000 mile since spring 06. The ST1300 was a new 05.

Welcome.
Ultralights, eh? Pictures? I am inexorably drawn to things that leave the ground.

Age of bike + rider = 78 !!
Welcome - are those mostly commuting miles or are you able to take time to tour extensively on the ST?

The ultralites were called AirBikes by TEAM aircraft designed by Wayne Ison.I also have had a couple of Quicksilvers.
I tour and commute .I ride year round .I go for 200 to 300 mile day rides.

I see you're not far from Kentucky - Stay tuned, we usually get a group to ride the "Tobacco Roads" for a weekend in the Fall, it would be great to meet up.

Welcome aboard. Where in Kentucky are you? I'm in Johnson City, Tennessee, so it's not far to the Kentucky line at Cumberland Gap.

He's in Southern IL - but you need to stay tuned for the Fall trip as well, Mr Culp!

cbrvfr where in Ky are you located?

I'm in SE Michigan, but like several others in the midwest, I an a fan of those phenomena in the pavement that others call "twisties."
So, in order to see and experience these nonlinear pathways, some of us from Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana have met annually in Fall for a weekend romp around the Florence / Dry Ridge area south of Cincinnati. I think we're open to other interesting areas in that realm, as long as the map looks as if someone dropped a bowl of spaghetti on the floor.

You are not alone here...ST-wise anyway!
Definitely meet up with Dave and friends for the fall ride. You will never have a better ride.
