    Howdy all!

    Hey everyone,

    My name is Matt, started riding a little less than a year ago, and found my new purpose in life...

    I have a 1983 Honda Nighthawk which I am either going to give to a votech or start rebuilding myself, and a 2009 Ninja 650, which I absolutely love.

    I am going to be buying a few more before the end of the year, but I am looking forward to learning as much as I can from all the knowledge available.

    I just saw an old Nighthawk on the road a couple days ago. Brought back memories of when I was drooling and dreaming over pics of them as a youngun'...

    Yeah, I bought it from my aunt, and it was working fine then, mostly, but I high-sided off of it, bent the handlebars. I replaced them (finally!), but after refilling the clutch fluid, the clutch doesn't work at all now, which makes riding it...well, interesting to say the least.

    I just saw a good article in a mag about a guy who completely rebuilt a 79 CBR into something different, and I was considering doing that to the Nighthawk.
