    New to the group!

Hey! my name is andrew and I was informed of this site from a friend Linus Caballa who said you all are a great bunch of guys and that for what I am looking for this is where I need to be.

I currently own a 2005 Yamaha FZ6 and I realize it is not a full out sport bike. I am here because I am extremely interested in track racing and learning all that I can to be great at it. I am hoping to be able to learn from of you pros and am always open for any advice or knowledge I can gaine.

Hey, welcome to the site... You have certainly came to the right place.

This is a VERY track oriented group.

Your friend led you to the right place.

Save your money and try to come to the MCADX days at grattan in Michigan, you won't regret it. The best track day I have ever been to, hands down. Great for learners and people who frequent track days alike.

    Anyway, Welcome to the site.
    See you at GRATTAN

    What's Linus' handle here?
There are some of us here who are very knowledgeable but we also have some squids. You'll learn who's a big mouth rather quick.

Hi Fixzer, welcome to the madness. As NorthernRR said, we enjoy the track and as Linus can attest, the days at Grattan are great, and the FZ6 is plenty of bike for the track ... even more fun when you pass the guys on the pretty sport bikes

Hey! I am so glad for all of the responces and also that my FZ6 will do well on the track. I have not done any mods on it yet cause I wasn't sure if I sould just save the money for a higher cc bike. I live in warren, Mi. are there any members that would "take me under their wing" sort to speak, I need all the help I can get.

Any one of the members here are pretty good... learn how to ride right before learning to ride that fast and you'll be laughing.

That would be a great learner bike on the track and you would certainly have room to grow with it as you go along. I think that there was someone there with an FZ600 ripping it up last year to be honest. the guy was moving. great to see for sure.

save your money and come to grattan. trust me.

Seriously I dont know who this dude is-stop name dropping-thats why I dont ride on the streets anymore. WTF its like I'm at bike night at Royal Oak again. People talking about me to my face without knowing they are talking to me.

Welcome Andy. We'll set up your bike for track days as soon as weather permits. And most of these loud mouths are really good riders who you'll enjoy riding with and meeting at the Addicts days.

Welcome Andy - Linus is a great teacher, particularly on this track, so you'll have the tools you need to get a good start.
