Welcome to the site. Sounds like you will fit in great around here. Just watch out for the Frenchie chick, she is a little off......if you know what I mean.
Next time you decide to get a bike, you need to get one of us to go with you to help negotiate.

Also break BEFORE you get tired or sore. I am sure with your miles you have an idea of your range so stop and stretch out a bit at about 75% and it will allow you to go further. Oh and I move around a bunch also because it keeps you from seizing at my age Lastly be sure you are not over gripping the bars that will also wear you out REAL fast.
Of course many accuse me of not being right so your experience may vary
Oops one more thing I have a Throttlemeister, don't use it much but on a 200 miles drone it allows you to twist it and shake out your throttle hand for a minute or two (the only mod I have)
I have the throttlemeister actually, that has been a HUGE help OMG. I don't lock my elbows either (leather jackets don't really let me hahahahah). I'm working on getting saddle bags. I have a friend that will give me a tail bag and another that will let me use his saddle bags for awhile but he is selling the bike so I may just be able to keep em lol... But I'm not sure how they will fit though. My bike went into the shop like 10 min before I saw the bags lol...
I do try to stop before I get tired but now that I am going so far w/o a single gas station to pull into, it becomes difficult. There is nowhere to stop except on the side of the road on a very busy highway for at least 100mi at a stretch. It sucks!
I got a real problem with gripping the bars, I try to relax but most of this is from nerves. I have crashed 3 times already with the last one October 07 and have had plenty of "oh shit!" moments to scare me pretty bad. I just love to ride so much I am trying to push past my fears. I think going "touring" will help that a lot.

frenchie chick eh? I don't get along with most women... so yeah I will stay clear! Thanks for the heads up!
haha my dad helped me negotiate the mustang since he got a smoking deal on his stang but he failed and I got slightly ripped on that, then I had my friend negotiate with me on the Ninja because he knew the sales guys real well... and yeah I got ripped too hahahahaha...

Welcome Welcome! I went to school at Arizona Western College in good ole Yuma! That was back in the 80's, and Im sure that place doesnt look the same now. There was only 2 high schools when I was there. I think there maybe 4 now. So now, its not the big gas station inbetween Phoenix and San Diego!
And NO, I am not the uni-bomber! Abtech just has an interesting sense of humor! LOL

You just need to find someone who's also developing her own bike-mounted GPS-fed uber-laptimer computer and form a collaborative partnership.

I do have a GPS btw, I just haven't mounted it yet, and I should get a cigarette lighter to plug it in lol.
