Welcome to the site. Sounds like you will fit in great around here. Just watch out for the Frenchie chick, she is a little off......if you know what I mean.

Next time you decide to get a bike, you need to get one of us to go with you to help negotiate.

The other is get a tail bag (I got Tourmaster) and get that purse off your back (backpacks are worse I am guessing since I have no purse to compare with) as that will tire you a lot more than you think. Also break BEFORE you get tired or sore. I am sure with your miles you have an idea of your range so stop and stretch out a bit at about 75% and it will allow you to go further. Oh and I move around a bunch also because it keeps you from seizing at my age Lastly be sure you are not over gripping the bars that will also wear you out REAL fast.

Of course many accuse me of not being right so your experience may vary

Oops one more thing I have a Throttlemeister, don't use it much but on a 200 miles drone it allows you to twist it and shake out your throttle hand for a minute or two (the only mod I have)
I have the throttlemeister actually, that has been a HUGE help OMG. I don't lock my elbows either (leather jackets don't really let me hahahahah). I'm working on getting saddle bags. I have a friend that will give me a tail bag and another that will let me use his saddle bags for awhile but he is selling the bike so I may just be able to keep em lol... But I'm not sure how they will fit though. My bike went into the shop like 10 min before I saw the bags lol...

I do try to stop before I get tired but now that I am going so far w/o a single gas station to pull into, it becomes difficult. There is nowhere to stop except on the side of the road on a very busy highway for at least 100mi at a stretch. It sucks!

I got a real problem with gripping the bars, I try to relax but most of this is from nerves. I have crashed 3 times already with the last one October 07 and have had plenty of "oh shit!" moments to scare me pretty bad. I just love to ride so much I am trying to push past my fears. I think going "touring" will help that a lot.

$17,500 for a Kawasaki 6R??? You sure your friend didn't make a deal on the side?

Stick around...we'll make sure you'll never make that mistake again!

yeah I know, but the cost is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ so I can't quite come up with the dough for that right now. I have thought about it and I will do it, it just isn't possible right now lol

lmao I'm positive he didn't, it all added up, I checked a million times lol

and it will never happen again because I will never buy a new bike as long as I live (unless it's the greatest bike ever made and there are no used ones lol...)

Welcome Welcome! I went to school at Arizona Western College in good ole Yuma! That was back in the 80's, and Im sure that place doesnt look the same now. There was only 2 high schools when I was there. I think there maybe 4 now. So now, its not the big gas station inbetween Phoenix and San Diego!

And NO, I am not the uni-bomber! Abtech just has an interesting sense of humor! LOL

lol I did my first track day valentines weekend, they had half off for ladies, I loved it so much but unfortunately our track is poorly maintained and they want $200 per day so yeah... I think I will wait till i pay off my bike and my CC's and maybe then buy a trailer for my mustang and head on up to SoCal

sweet! I think I've maybe had 3 real girl friends my whole life. My bestest friends are guys, and I try to hang out with chicks but most of them are bitches into shopping for clothes they can't afford so they can feel better about themselves and getting cheated on by their bf's after they made the guy miserable enough to do it in the first place, then crying about it and blaming the guy. No thanks, not for me! LOL!

Also I think hanging out with the guys I have learned a lot of valuable lessons on relationships. I realized you don't have to be a bitch and chain the guy down forcing him to do what you want. Plus I'm easy to please and enjoy doing things guys like to do. Makes us both happy!

and no, I'm not a tom boy, I'm pretty girly lol... I put up an album of some nice pics my bf took of me a few weeks ago. Leg humpers need not apply! LMAO!

"leg humpers need not apply" then why post pics of your tits smashed on the tank?

Looks like someone is actually looking for a leg humper or two.

You just need to find someone who's also developing her own bike-mounted GPS-fed uber-laptimer computer and form a collaborative partnership.
