Recovering

Spendin some time on the computer due to another misshap on my motorcycle, Just found this site, figured I would check it out. High-sided my R6. Just suffered another concussion and broke my collar bone again, no big deal. Good news, the bikes fine! Minor cosmetics, thats it. Just can't stay off 'em....must be addicted! Seems like a good site for me then.

Wow, seems like we belong to the same clubs.

Sounds more like you have a problem staying on them!

Heal up quick, and welcome to the site.

Technically that would be "ballistic astronaut" since he doesn't seem to be able to attain neither the speed nor the altitude to make one complete orbit.

Guess you'll both have to keep trying until you get it right.

to the addiction, bh. Glad you could join us.

Could always be worse....and better to though

Yeah ok I do have a problem staying on or off. Oh well. This is minor compared to the last crash.Three years ago in Florida I hit a dog on an SV I had, totaled the bike, spent 2 months in the hospital, one of which was in a coma. It happens. I was told that I had a lot of talent on the track. I'll be back at it in no time. Some of you guys must have some pretty good crash stories, don't leave me hangin here. Some people say its stupid to get back on, I just think it'd be stupid to not learn anything from it...or to ignore the love of the sport.

Welcome!

I think it's stupid to not get back on, I always face my fears! Few crashes and you get used to it, track has eaten me alive over the years. I just keep getting back on for more.

Worst crash I had was a deer/CBR600RR incident. Riding back from a friends house and came around a blind corner at dusk and there was a deer standing in the middle of the road. Forgot everything I had ever learned in that split second and grabbed a bit too much front. That brought new pain I'd never felt on impact. Totaled out the bike and laid me up for 3 months and another 4 months recovery. Now I'm getting ready to take posession of a k7 gixxer 750 tomorrow. Can't get enough!
