Lurking no longer

Hi! I’m DrHall’s sister, (the good one ).

I don’t ride (yet), but signed up a year ago to read the posts of his journey through the Midwest last summer. I read his posts, and many of your responses, and started to look around the site a little more. I found that there is a lot of interesting topics, conversations, and viewpoints that even a non-rider can enjoy. It's been a year, so I figured that it was about time to introduce myself.

Two of my favorite things I’ve picked up from you (so far):
· Woot – first thing I do every morning is check to see what I can buy. I got my boss hooked too, so now I can shop a woot-off all day without getting in trouble. Love the t-shirts too.
· My new favorite word for those who apparently don’t have a brain – asshat. Used regularly while driving, maybe too regularly . . . . . oh well.

Okay, I’m not a rider, so what value could I possibly bring to the forum?
· Some interesting photos for the Real Life Pics thread;
· Maybe some jokes;
· Probably some opinionated views on politics, religion, and life in general;
· Varied and assorted useless information;
· Oh yeah – 47 years of insight and information on DrHall! (Considerably fewer years of dirt (oops!), uh . . . "inside information" (yeah, that's it) on XSIVSPD, but there’s always the future!) Now, DrHall will probably tell you to pay no attention to those stories, but well, you know . . . Uh . . . . his memory is not what it used to be, so he just doesn’t remember things that well anymore.

I’m looking forward to joining in on the conversations and getting to know you.

Diane

Hi Diane. You don't have to be a rider to bring value to this forum!!! We all are riders and do not bring any value what so ever to the place

Welcome aboard, so insight eh?

to the addiction, Diane. Glad you chose to join up.

The whole site is just like a big family so it doesn't matter that you don't ride as long as you can provide ammunition to use during our gettogethers

See, I told you about his memory.

I knew that you'd be interested in knowing more about my big brother. He's already told me that he's keeping an eye on my thread, so I'll have to be careful about what I tell you. For instance, he probably wouldn't like it if I were to find a pic of him with the permed hair (yes, he had hair - lots of it) and white tux that he wore when he took my friend to the prom. I'm too far away for him to hold me down and spit in my face, but there's no telling what he could come up with on me.

Mr. Sheep, I'll try to do better, but I just never saw a woolly woot. And a Wool-off sounds a little scary, I mean wooldn't that be sheep strippers? Is that even legal?

Does that mean that you don't want to know about the other one??? Also, don't forget you've still got XSIVSPD around here somewhere.

Thanks again for your warm welcome. I've got to go see what kind of photos I've got around here.

I've never met your brother in person but he's been a pretty dang good to me lately so I've got to stick on his side initially. I guess it will depend on what you come up with.

Is XSIVSPD still around here? He must be too busy pleasing the ladys.

Yes, that seems to be just him. We went over the rules of dipping today, and I think he's got that under control now. Thanks for standing up for me and the rest of the family!

He really is a great guy (now) I'm lucky to have him. There's definitely no harm meant here. Besides, he's gotten pretty used to being picked on by his in-laws over the years.
