3 DAYS AT GRATTAN

Hi all... I had lots of fun and met a ton of good people @ Grattan. I kind of took off in a hurry after the Pocket Rocket races to try and stay ahead of the weather. I knew after the first day that I would have to join and will now have to get a track bike. I couldn't begin to thank everyone and just wanted to say that I hope to see you again next year. Got home last night about 1030. Big detour on I-69 E near Bancroft. Started Raining and kept it up until I got to the border. Made good time once I got into Canada. I talked with Etiene(sp) and Rob this morning and they are back into Ontario heading home. I have some reading to do to get up to speed and am looking forward to seeing some great shots posted..
Later...... Lance

Lance, it was great meeting you. I hope you didn't run into any of the weather that bwhip and I hit on the way home. WOW it was nuts. I'm still amazed he kept everything on the road.

Soo, when are getting a sport bike?

Hi Will,
I am already looking for strictly a track bike. Frank mentioned the best time is in the fall so I will be looking more seriously then. Rob said they had quite the storm at the track. I just had rain. It wasn't too bad. Lance

Glad to hear you missed the worst of the weather. I was thinking about you since it rained non-stop from Grattan to Detroit when I left.

It wa great to meet you Lance. I look forward to seeing you next year.

ok now keep driving past Detroit and keep going till you get past Pittsburg. that ride had maybe 5 minutes total of dry time. me and JH pretty much drove with the storm most of the night. I drove out of it and let him take over and awoke to him pulling into a rest stop asking me if I wanted to drive, hell no. so we slept for a couple hours before heading out again with bright sunny skies.

Lance, good to meet you. hope you didn't learn anything new/scary about that son of yours, he's an oddball. real good guy though.....

as long as he's sitting on the French-canadian's lap and not mine.

It was nice meeting you, and thanks for all the help in the garage! It seemed like every time we pulled in or out, you were way ahead of us with the bike stands Hope to see you again next time!

Glad to see that you registered, welcome to the "addiction"...

So glad that you made the trip down and had such a good time. It was great to have you there. Hopefully that answers any questions you had about me wanting to ride on the track.
