Hello from Boston(ish)...

Hello, just signed up here as it seems there's a very active trackday discussion going on! My name's Scottie and I've primarilly owned / raced Ducatis since 2001. Got out of racing last year, I currently have a 1992 Ducati 851 and a 2003 Aprilia RSVR Edwards Rep and am looking forward to doing some more trackdays at other tracks (e.g.: Not Loudon / NHIS). Hoping to meet some of you all and learn more about some track time up in Canada!

Scottie

24 and you're out of racing already

where are you from?

Jetbdude is working on some days up in Canada but we also have a few days at Grattan Raceway in Michigan. tons of fun.

Welcome to come aboard! (Actually, I don't have the authority to say that, but I think we can sneak you in here anyway)

I'd love to hear what you have to say about your bikes.

And I'll post pics of the Edwards' Rep once I get my hands on her.... I just bought it, in CA and am waiting for shippingggggg..... blah! But it should be a screamer!

And... yeah, 24 (goin on 25) is soon to be "out of racing" but after 4 years, I was burning through a set of tires (or two) each weekend and ran outta money... I never had help from the parents, got a little sponsor help, but was doin it on my own. Eventually, real life hit and I couldn't afford it anymore.... now that's not to say I won't get back into it when I have a little warchest saved up... but for now, I really am looking forward to doing some trackdays and riding places like VIR again, and hopefully some new tracks I've never been to!

Oh.... and my racebike kinda met a *fast* and painful death outside of turn 8 at Loudon.....

Welcome.

Sweet pics. You will have to come to Miller with the rest of the CANUCKS. However there is a 2 case of beer entry fee for foriegners.

So are you... Canadian? My mom was bornin Montreal, does that help? ;-)

I would *love* to ride Miller... and I'd *love* to ride Barber, but they're a bit too far for me... I'm doing VIR in April and Oct and that's about my limit for driving / trailering until I have a better rig... '91 VW Jetta towin a light trailer

Good looking bike you got there.

Like Sheep said, you should come to Grattan. That's for sure THE best Track time you will have, because we will all be there

Where, when, how much, how do I sign up? And how's the track time there, is it stick-up-the-bum or relaxed? Heard bad things about the old DOCC gathering turning into a fiasco...
