Fat Boy vs Heritage
I didn't have anything to write about this topic. I didn't want this section of the board feeling lonely.

Re: Fat Boy vs Heritage
No matter how I write it, it's going to sound really, really bad.
I love the FatBoy. |

Re: Fat Boy vs Heritage
Springer fork is an (expensive) option.
Cycle World (Don Canet) just did a review on the new Fat Boy and he liked it a lot. Says it's the best non-bagger Harley ever.

I'd go with the Fat Boy, if anything.

Re: Fat Boy vs Heritage
Actually, I'd skip Harley all together and go with a Victory Vegas, I have a buddy that has one and it's one hell of a nice ride with great power.

Power? I'll have you know that Harley Davidson is the most efficient method of converting gasoline into noise without that annoying horsepower byproduct...

Re: Fat Boy vs Heritage
The Fatboys are comfortable and capable cruisers if a bit overpriced. I prefer the Road King though for real comfort on the street.
The VROD is also a very nice riding bike with a lot of power and speed to it. Springers suck. It's like riding on a pogo stick. |

Re: Fat Boy vs Heritage
At the grand opening of the newest Orlando Harley store, I test rode a 07 heritage soft tail. It fit well. I wish I could get one. Six speed transmission was very smooth. Comfort was just right for me. Now I have to convience the wife.... That will not be so easy.
