But it has structurally-enhanced Stacked I-Frame construction!

Seriously, a toolbox with an LCD Display? WTF is that about?

Just the first step to having Nascarvision on your toolbox.

Re: Craftsman AXS Toolbox

I glanced at it the other day while in Sears. One eyebrow raised. I figure it's appropriate. All tools need a special place to put their tools. Why not a pouser toolbox?

Yeah, what kind of tard would want an LCD display of the time, temperature and humidity with them in a garage or out at a track or something?

Kinda what I was thinking, hell, my lap timer has temperature in it...for the price my Craftsman tool-chest is very acceptable quality too. It's no Kennedy or Snap-On, but it was also $300 new.

But have you SEEN one. Unlike a regular Craftsmen box they do not seem well made at all. Of course you can get them in different colors and they are preblinged. They are very cheesy in person.

As for the temp I have a weather station I bring to the track that is time synched by radio.... amatuers.

1400 American Dollars? I guess that's not too bad. Still half the price of a basic 6-drawer Mac Tools chest.

And only 1/20th the quality. I bet these aren't even waterloo boxes anymore.

Re: Craftsman AXS Toolbox

Hammer Jr. told me about this box the other day, he works at Sears now BTW. I just shook my head as he was explaining how cool it was and how I should get it. I did just buy a tool box though and no it was not this one but a Snap On chest and drawer combo.

They make some decent boxes but this one seemed tinny with undersized drawer guides and cheap handles. The finish even seemed lame.

Does he get cool discounts?
