Repairing plastics

My friends RC 51's rear fairing has cracked by the front of the rear seat. It's about 3". I was wondering what glue should be used. Do i need some special plastic weld or will a good epxy at any hardware store do the job.

Oh got the knee down for teh first time yesterday! It was rather surprising and startled me. From then on it jsut felt natural.

Re: Repairing plastics

If it is stock plastic, I got a plastic epoxy at an auto parts store that remains flexible but holds strong. The auto parts store sells a lot of paint supplies so I doubt that auto zone would have what you are looking for but try a specialty parts store and just ask them what they would recommend.
If it is after market race plastic, you would need to do the repair in fiberglass.
