    EU2000i Servicing

    My little Honda genset has been used probably 20-30 hours in the 2 years I've had it... if that. I'm thinking it's overdue for a servicing. Any pointers or suggestions? I've never worked on one of these little buggers.

    Is 10/40 Rotella T ok? I happen to have a few quarts of it on the shelf.

    I don't have any experience with that particular engine but I've changed the oil on a lot of small Honda engines. Never been hard. Pull the plug, tip it up, replace plug, fill to appropriate level. I'd put Rotella in just about anything.
    ...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

    Nope the only other thing is maybe put a SMALL amount of injection cleaner in a full tank once you change the oil and run a tank through in one start to clean the carb. And plugs maybe. 20-30 is pretty low hours though.

    they are very specific about the motor oil. IIRC its 30wt and it is changed after the first 20 hours initially.
