Has anyone use the liquid filled design? Do they have any benefit? I am thinking about adding another to the Accu guage I have now.

Not really, other than it might last a bit longer...the main value of the liquid in race car gauages is that it dampens the vibration from racing damaging the motor or breaking the needle off.

Timely post. I was just looking over my gauge collection. I have one Accugage left. I also have a liquid-filled Quik Car one. No advantage, really. In fact, my liquid one was reading 3 lbs too low (compared to CBRVFR's calibrated one last year at Grattan). I turned the bleed lever on top (the newer ones don't have this, they supposedly auto-equilibrate), and now it's reading the same as my accugage. I forgot all about the bleeder thingie on it! Problem is, I forgot to check it against the accugage before I did the bleed, so.... Gonna find someone at the track to compare with...
I hear good things about both of the gauges I have, both seem to be popular choices, FWIW

I took the suggestion from Abtech awhile back for the accuguage I believe.

Of course, I should have thought about that. Makes since.

Mine isn't liquid filled but its a blue point. (same style) Probably around 50 bucks but it's really nice and lifetime war. It was about 10 years old and I just turned it in about 2 months ago because it was slightly leaking out the reading once removed.

I have a quickcar liquid filled but I never liked it as much as I did my accugage...

So next question, where is the best place to buy accugage if none of your local dealers stock em? I see www.compacc.com seems to have a good assortment.

Have you checked auto parts places? The local Advance auto parts has Meiser/Accugage at very reasonable prices...
