Actually, it's a reflection on what people think 2009 is going to look like I think.

I think it's the jobless clames and plunging factory backlog announcements.

Auto industry? I know it's a very small fraction of their take but I saw somewhere that pick-up sales were down 40%

Phobe, look at the EPS and Div of CMI and compare it to others (and the current stock price).

That said, my investment in them over the last couple months has been hugely hammered down...but I haven't quit buying.

Hell of a deal on the Gen. We use Cummins engines in our boat and I talked to our rep, he told me that is way below the dealer cost here in Canada.

Very quiet Gen BTW
