Honda Polish

Screw the environment *, new Honda polish sucks.

It's streaky, isn't as powerful at removing bugs and grime, and doesn't smell as good.

* Actually, I love the environment. Tell you what, I'll ride the Ruckus to work once a month to reduce my carbon footprint that way instead of the Honda polish thing, okay?

I've heard plexus is really good... People come into the store all the time looking for that and the Meguiars cleaners and spray wax.

I've switched to the Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer and it works pretty well, but I still miss the old Honda spray...

Yes, "Honda Polish" was ruined a few years ago, just before Honda stopped carrying it. I bought a case and have just run out this summer....

It's true that Plexus does work well, but it smells like toilet bowl cleaner. If you can get past that, you are good to go...

For now I've been using the Next Dimension "Honda Polish"....but it does suck compared to the original....

Thanks bwhip. I have 3/4 can left of the original. (between two cans) Could somebody tell me what was wrong with it again??? I'm afraid to use up what I have left because I'll never get it again. Now I can use it up and not worry.

Zaino Z-6 smells really good too. I use Zaino on the 'vette and like the result. No affiliation, but it is pricey.

The Original Spray Cleaner Polish mentioned here is manufactured by the same company that made the Honda Spray Cleaner Polish for 15 years. They recently came out with their own brand that started out as Next Dimension but is now called Original Bike Spirits.
This is the same orignal formula used in the Honda product the only change was to a different propellant that would allow it to be 50 state compliant. Basically the product is the same it just sprays out a little smoother (side improvement with propellant change). It retains all the cleaning and protection qualities that made it the best selling Spray Cleaner in the market.
Try it you won't want anything else, find a dealer on originalbikespirits.com. Most of the Honda Cycle stores are carrying it cause of the sales success they had before.

I picked up a couple of cans of the aforementioned "honda polish" (original bike spirits) this week hoping that the rumors were true. I finally got a chance to use it today and it is exactly as I remembered honda polish to be. My bike missed the good stuff.

I have used honda polish, next dimension, and now the original bike spirits. I would say that the honda polish and original bike spirits are identical. I have no idea what the next dimension stuff was, but it definitely was not the same as honda polish. It was real thin, runny, and would not wipe off cleanly.

I recently ordered a case of the Original Bike Spirits after getting a can at a dealership and trying it out. It does not smell the same (imo), but it cleans like I remember the Honda Polish.

I also did some reading before I got the whole case and what 86sfwg said is spot on.

I had a can of the Next Dimension I bought at, of all places, a garden equipment shop, and I thought it was as good as Honda Polish.
