Panasonic power tools

Are they decent for the weekend warrior? They're lithium ion drills interest me.

I've have second hand experience with them and they seem decent, just pricey as all hell from what I have seen. For LiIon, I'd go with the Ryobi stuff, or that weird Hitachi stuff seems ok too (Lowes).

Prior to owning Ryobi, I've owned/used/killed DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee...used to pay the bills with em. For homeowner stuff...Ryobi works for me just fine, and the price is right. Pana's stuff is made in Japan though, not China I believe

I can get it relatively cheap through my employer so that's why I asked. As long as it's on par with the other consumer grade stuff I'm cool with it. I just didn't want to be buying paperweights when the time comes down to it.
