Wondered the same thing. You can see the power cord in the pic...not sure what it connects to though.

I looked at them some time ago when someone pointed me to the manufacturer's site. I think the motor is located in the base area, but can't remember how it actuates on the vertical rails ... either linear type motor in the verticles (screw?) or rotary geared under the platform.


It would work pretty nice if you had very limited space. Heck, you could use one of those to run the bike up the wall in the living room and slide the couch under it ... just wouldn't want to sit under the Harley, might get wet

I'm not sure how things work on your side of the state, but most power cords plug into the wall over here...

There is a garage interiors place around the corner from me, and when I saw one of those there about a year and a half ago, that same thing was less than $1000. If you want one PM me and I will go and recheck the price and have it shipped to you. That just seems like alot of weight to put on two studs though!
