I need a project just so I can order one of those. Ideas? Top off a 383 stroker for my 4x4?

Gawd, I'd love to use them to do up an individial throttle body setup for the vette. Already have the tuning software to allow the factory engine computer to accept that.
We were talking about this thread tonight as the roomie and I sat in the garage with beer after he fabbed a new tie-rod for his dodge power wagon.
Decided to snap a pic of the current line up of welding and cutting equipment.... Miller MIG, Miller TIG/Arc, and a Miller Spectrum 875 Plasma Cutter.
While I'm slightly jealous of your line-up there I'm MUCH more jealous of the fact that y'all know how to use them. I actually own an old Lincoln welder. I don't have a dang clue how to use it.

Nice. My current garage setup is also an Econo Tig, a Millermatic 135, and a big ass oxy/act rig. Been looking for a 220v mig welder, the 135 just doesnt quite have the oomph I want. But it great as I can run it off my generator and have portability. Those 175/180 look like a good garage setup, I just dont have room for a full size machine.

I forgot about the Oxy/Act, it's in the corner, hasn't been used in forever. It was a Craigslist Crackhead purchase, the guy wanted like 50 bucks.

Does all that belong to both of you or just one of you? I really need to get going on getting the rest of my setup (TIG and plasma).

I really like the 180. Super small size lets me put it anywhere. If I didn't have the full size gas bottle, it'd fit perfectly under my workbench. It would actually fit on one of the pullout shelves.

Cant beat that. My rig came from someone that got a bunch of free tools from being on Monster Garage. New $600 set up for $200 bucks. Now if I can just find a CL crackhead with a millermatic 180...

I just grabbed a small "salvage" acetylene rig the other day. It has a really small acetylene bottle size "MC".
I was told that size bottle was created to power motorcycle head lamps.
Hmmm...haven't welded this weekend, maybe I should head out to the garage.
