Here is a few pictures of my new shop

The inside SQ FT is about the same size as the house I used to live in.
The rest of the driveway is being poured this month and I'm going to add lighted bollards on the front side of the building.

The slab is 57x57' with two 12x45' covered porches and a 12' porch on the rear which I will add a roof for the riding lawn mowers and air compressor/etc later after the dust has settled.

The shop has its own 200amp service.

It's good to be on the Architectural Committee

Wish you were my neighbor. I'm going to be changing the thermostat on my car in 15 F weather.

Looks like a sweet set-up.

Last year I replaced the stock fuel tank on the truck with a 60 gallon out on the driveway. It was only in the 30s but the wind was blowing so hard it was difficult to work. I now a little about what you're dealing with.

Unfortunately, I'm still running conduit and power so the floor is stacked with all my power tools/etc. I am looking into a two story storage shelf setup to take advantage of the height. I could put a second story in at least one bay or quarter bay...and still park the RV on the other side.

That would be the way to go. I worked for a guy that had an almost identical looking shop. He used just over half of one of the bays to put in a full apartment (tiny) that he rented for $550 a month. It still left room underneath for storage.

Out here a 200A 3-phase service wouldn't be all that unusual unless you were in a residential area.

It's not too pricey to convert if you have to, it just isn't the preferred way.

3 Phase Converter Info- Sales- rotary phase converter, static 3 phase rotary converters.

Very few have 3 phase service, if they do they paid through the nose to get it.

It starts out at around $4K for overhead, and that is if 3 phase is within 300-400 feet from where you want the pole..

You could have trouble running a CNC on a rotary...this is one area where a digital is better...

Nice. Will that hold all the firearms, or are you planning an expansion soon?

If I had that shop and he had a feather up his butt we'd both be tickled.
