Expensive but interesting on a few fronts.
1) high res (not HD but better than most bullet cams)
2) solid state so no harddrive to smoke
3) small
4) wireless remote (even better than LANC)
5) 80minutes of recording time on 2GB SD card
6) removable media so infinite time like tapes
7) water resistant
If I did not have a working system I might have to test this.
I agree it is pricey but consider that you get a DVD quality cam that does not need a seperate camcorder. A cam ($300) + camcorder ($300-600) is not that much cheaper. Of course when Powerball sends my millions I will mount 3 on the RC
420 line cams are so 5 years ago My current is a 520 line and the difference is HUGE. Also the 520 adjusts to light transistions better than my 380 did (not sure if the 420 was also updated) This CAM has 720 lines not just the recorder... I found one that was HD but it is not in production

upgrading it to a 520 plus 2 additional 520 cameras (bring you to 4 cameras total) is $2089.95. the camera you linked to and said you'd run 3 if you won the lottery would still be more expensive. you gotta check the available options buddy. but yes still lower quality than the 720.
