Sunshade = No Sun in your Eyes:
I can't believe one of the most useful things I've ever gotten for my bike or gear was completely free:
I'd seen these things before, and read reviews in rider and motorcyclist about the usefulness of these. I was a 2 visor (tinted and clear) rider for a long time (1 on, and 1 in the tankbag/ backpack/etc.). Well, I found myself riding in the dusk hours often in the last couple years, and dawns on occasion. Many times, I would just make due in these transition hours with whichever visor I had on the helmet, and wouldn't switch over for the duration, unless my dusk ride turned into a "night ride". With that said, on accident I ended up picking up some VISOR strips, also known as visor bands, or even tint bands, when I was shoveling some free stickers into my bag at a "convention". Once I figured out what the damn thing was, I stuck it on my Vemar helmet, on the exterior, thinking "what the hell, I'll try it out." What a huge difference in my visibility and personal comfort during sunrise or sunset! Now keep in mind, you don't want to put something the size of a bumpersticker on your visor, but even though the "visor band" isn't see-through, it does not impede my visibility AT ALL. But it does what the magazines had claimed - precisely: riding into the sun, you will increase your visibility ten-fold. Even while on the coast, just a dip of the head when the sun is just above water level produces the desired effect. It sounds simple, and may even sound lame to some, but these are one of the things that you truly don't want to "knock before you try"... Here's a link for a do it yourself, though many distributors use these with their emblems or insignia on them, and give them away free for advertising- Motorcycle Helmet Sun Shade - webBikeWorld

ouch.I was going to call the thread: I've got this friggin' great thing I found that I feel retarded I never tried before and you're all retarded unless you've tried it and continued to use it! But decided to go with something you could probably use "search" for and find really easy...ass.
