I am looking for a table lift with a front rim clamp. But, I need it to still be wide enough to get my stands on it if need be.
I have a compressor big enough to run it if air is the lifting method.
Weight is not as big a deal as it won't likely be moved around much, I just need something to save my back from being hunched over while I am working on the 3-4 bikes this winter.
Where do people get these? stupid ontario has NOTHING.
Thanks for the help, anyone have any "other" ideas I am open to them... with in reason.
I have the Handy Industries air lift with the "cycle vise". It's the same lift that most shops around here use. They offer specials at the motorcycle shows if you can wait a few months.

Most folks want to know should they get a manual or auto lift style (like harbor freight deal, or Handy type) or if they should get some other sort of funkdaddery like one of those clamp stands, or whatnot.
Once you've decided on a lift table, you're options are pretty close. You can get shitty powerstands knockoffs (well, of a non-lift version, sorry) or you can get the Handy/Direct-Lift/Tigerlift type.
The photo that Evl has is basically what mine is - except it is a Direct-Lift Pro-Cycle (out of Ft.Worth, Texas). Mine is black and has a diamond plate deck, the padded wheel vise and a detachable loading ramp.
Do I like it? hell yeah
I was fortunate enough to have a member on here that was selling a lift and another member that was cool enough to help get it here from Michigan . Considering it's 24" wide by 96" long and weighs 512#, it was no small task. Thanks again to all that helped get it here

The Seamii are awesome.
Awesome I have been interested in one since I broke my back a while back as I enjoy working on them a LOT but in the winer without a stand it is TORTURE.
I am going to look into the handy lift. Last I saw they were selling knock offs out of T.O. for around $1600. I'll be ordering out of the states this time for sure. especially with our dollar at par.
The handy lift has wheels at one end, and I've moved it around by just lifting the ramp end. You can get the dolly, I just don't think it's necessary.

Necessary? Nah, not by any stretch - but makes it very easy to toss it in a corner or wherever and the dolly thing is only another 50$ or so when you get the lift. The way it attaches makes it very "semi-truck" like when moving it.
As for lifting the ramp end, that does work fine for the occasional relocation but with the mentioned back surgery above I was thinking the dolly is the easy way.
I have a lo-rise jack and a piano dolly ( 3caster wheel thing ) that I toss under mine but that dolly would make life even easier.

OK, Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I have just been talking to the main canadian distributor up here, he is tellig me I can have it shipped here for around $1100 with the wheel lock at the front and the side extensions tax(not taxes ) included .
Does this sound out of line? If I was bringing it up from the states it would be aorund the same price plus duty and shipping wouldn't it? I just want to make sure this isn't out of line.
Is there a bike show in .ca like here in the states? I got a deal on mine by buying during the show. I wouldn't think you'd need the side extensions, but definitely get the "cycle vise" wheel clamp. I think mine was around 800-900 shipped, but that was several years ago.

It's a Handy lift, plain black. I plan on using it to fix my sport bikes and dad's H-D. I also though since I don't have muchbench space in the garage it would be nice. The sides turn it from 80x26 to 80x50 with both ides installed. I figured for 80 bucks that wouldn't be bad.
