    d3o impact stuff

d3o Interesting stuff. The info is poor and some of the products are in non-english languages soooo.....

But the basic idea seems to be a product that is rubbery until impact when it stiffens. Sounds like a great armour for riding

I realize it can't possibly be as hip as a material that would be used to make an iband.

Buy an Aerostitch with "TF3" armor and get it now.

(And yes, if you punch the backprotector, it does act different than if you slowly push it with a finger.)

Super cool. I wanted a Darien anyway. This ups the ante.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG
