    Wideband logging?

Has anyone found a reasonably priced wideband logging setup for road tuning use that works well? I'd like to fine tune my pc3 map and hate the idea of strapping the bike to a dyno to do it.

    Thanks,
    Dan

I believe EvlTwin has a set up like what you are referring to. But a Dyno would be the best option.

I purchased an Innovate LM-1 for just this purpose about a year and half ago - I paid about $200, IIRC. They're somewhat obsolete now, should be able to find one for even less. Some detail on use in this thread.

Evl_Twin was planning a similar exercise with another model - I'm not sure where he came out...

Thanks guys. Actually, I bought the LM-1 kit years ago and then got disgusted and put it on a shelf after discovering I would have to spend hundreds more on the optional parts to do any actual logging.

But I'm feeling inspired to pick that back up. Looks like there are much more economical logging options out there if you already have the basic wideband unit.

Has anyone seen a good O2 sensor tube clip for bikes? There are no bungs anywhere on my system. (And it's titanium, so taking it down to mighty muffler to have Cletus weld one in isn't going to happen. ) Innovate offers one, but it looks pretty chintzy for a $75 part.

    Thanks again,
    Dan

You don't have an O2 sensor bung either?

I'd run the O2 resistor and slip the wideband sensor in it's spot to pull readings, then swap back.

49-state 954's didn't come with an O2 sensor and the full sato I put on doesn't have a bung.

I remember there being shop with a good ti craftsman in northwest atlanta that is highly recommended. (Some of the local vette guys are just plain nuts.)I should pull the center section on the sato and have them put a bung there.

edit: what a thing to have the 100'th post be about.

I haven't updated the thread, or even messed around with the PLX for a while now. We loaded a map for the Brutale from Dynojet's website, and the results looked good enough to leave it alone. If I get the spare time, I'll get back to running some sessions with the logger in place.
