Not bad for $500. The replaceable battery pack is a nice feature!

$500 for waterproof? That should blow away the zumos and the Tom Tom riders! I agree with the battery pack being a really good idea!

Interesting as I did not figure on waterproof. Still lacks the buttons on the left and glove friendly but interesting....

Zumo has included s/w that you can put on the computer. A motorcycle mount. Stickers

NOTE: s/w means you get the shiny disk you insert into your computer. Yep in the cup holder tray that comes out. Then you answer yes to all questions. Then it leaves a pretty picture that you click to see a map and your GPS

Man... you know I'm not computer inclined, it took me a couple minutes to figure out what s/w was.

I've actually been using the nuvi 360 and I've been pretty pleased with it. Not waterproof, and no stickers, but the windshield mount made for cars fits perfectly over my speedo

Suction mount on a bike hope you have a different sort. Fixed it for you.

Thanks, its much more clear now

Suction cup hasn't had any issues actually, I guess there is no turbulence where it sits and it sticks enough so vibrations don't bother it. I've taken it on some relatively long trips and just riding around town, higher speed runs, cruising speed and hard acceleration, never any problems.

The 500 looks great. Too bad it's about exactly double the price of what I was planning on spending on a unit.

Use that coupon I posted and buy this: Garmin - nüvi 200 GPS - 010-00621-10

$100 isn't bad for that.

Nuvi 360 for 239.99

The only negative is it isn't waterproof. Expandable memory, mp3 player, cool little tools, bluetooth to phone, etc. I love it!

Actually went to BestBuy this morning and looked at both of those and the nuvi 250 and 250W. Since whatever we get would be used 98% of the time by my wife right now a $100 nuvi 200 would be perfect because she doesn't know about nor care about any of the stuff that I like that would bug me. I really want the options for route planning and auto route recalculation.

I got a Nuvi 350 a couple months ago for $199 from amazon. It's not waterproof, but it's probably the cheapest text-to-speech (reads street names instead of "turn in 300 ft") unit available. My VFR already had a ram mount, I just had to get the arm and bracket that fits the Nuvi.

maybe I have low expectations but we got a nuvi 200W a few weeks back and it is fantastic in every way! Far superior even to the factory honda system we had in our civic hybrid. It's awesome, the battery life is perfect for walking towns (recently used brilliantly in savannah) and it hasn't led me wrong yet.

I didn't know how far along these devices had come, they really are so much better than they used to be.

I hope you paid <175$ for it?

Yeah, the 200W is one of the key units for Garmin. They made a unit that looks like a tomtom sorta, but works way better - oh and has accurate maps too

I have one sitting in my truck right now (as well as one or two other's )

I should have stated to Sheeply you have first dibs on it . What was it, the second day I owned it you said to let you know before I moved it along - you know me too well

Though I'm not serious yet...the Zumo is still my favorite on-bike solution. I must admit it's all the left buttons and the less-bulkiness of it that I dig. I just wish whenever I walked away from the machine I didn't have to leave a 100$ cradle sitting there
