Garmin has a beta release of s/w that supports Mac now Still REAL rough around the edges but interesting and hopefully a sign of future support. Interestingly it is not a port of the 'doz s/w but a whole new program.

what does it do, let you update maps?

Update maps, load routes, etc. The same as Windoz. Features are still missing though.
