Thanks

I just was looking up financing for it since I doubt I will be able to save that much that quickly... but I gotta have it

What are they going to do about fielding a Superbike team? Are they going to change the rules to allow it in?

They'll be running the 999 in 2007, with hopes of getting the displacement for twins bumped to 1200cc for 2008. At least that's the way I've understood the rumor mill.

I'm very seriously considering selling my 1000rr and getting the new 1098.

I'm interested in the 1098, but not until it's a known/proven quantity. I know someone who bought a 999 and it went back to Ducati for being a POS.

Yeah, I have been wondering if I should to the smart thing and wait for the '08 model.

Red, posting those pictures was just cruel. I think I'm in lust again...

Re: Ducati 1098 First Rides

Beautiful bike! I loved the 916/996/998, but like many, I never warmed up to the 999. What's the difference in the models? I see the S version has better suspension and wheels. Does the Tricolore have the better suspension bits, too, or is that extra high cost for the graphics and the Termi pipes?

You got it... Not worth it to me. I don't even like the tricolore version.

Have I mentioned that I'm friends with Ducati's rep for the northeast?
