I dunno, but I think that 100 cc bump might make the ducati a tough bike to beat. Who knows?

the bigger story that I can't believe people aren't harping over the most is the on-board traction control on teh 1198S. For $2k over the outgoing 1098S, that is a MUCH improved bike.

I think those stories will be coming out of the woodwork once some journalists actually ride with it. For now, everyone is probably fairly skeptical since Stoner is the only one that seemed to be capable of using the feature.

That's kinda what I said in the other thread where the 1198S came up. I love the idea of TC on a street bike.

Stoner seems the only one capable of maximizing it on the track but I think in the real world on the street it has HUGE implications. From cold tires to sand to just plain being a overly ham fisted with a giant twin. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I want TC on the 848 since that will be my next bike.

I have TC and stability on my bike. (and ABS and Linked brakes) I love it on the street.

On the track, it might make you safer, but I doubt it'd make you faster- the review of the 1098R I read (Sport Rider IIRC) said the same thing.

I should mention that I HATE the bronze colored frame and rims though.
