I've pinched a few bikes into the back of an Astro van before, but that's goin a little too far! My bikes were only worth a fraction of that one anyways!

As for the Duc in the Volvo, I think that is a very classy solution and appears to be fairly efficient in the mounting (bike to frame) and loading into the back. I give it

That's always been my favorite. Might be cheaper and easier than me getting just a one bike trailer. If I show up at Grattan next year I'll have to come in a set-up like that. I know where there is a donor Geo Metro that I could have for cheap.

You know, Budget rents Ranger pick ups pretty cheap. My first trackdays and races were done with $19.99/day no-stranger-to-danger-Rangers....

I know I had also downloaded one with the bike strapped to the roof with the rear wheel on the trunk lid, but I didn't find that one when I looked. I think the "ramp as a pirate plank" wins out.

Oh yes indeed - The 'bike in trunk with plank' picture definitely wins by a long shot. It makes the modified Civic look like a very well-engineered solution.

Actually, it looks like that piece of shit car is going to fall through, so I'll continue driving my bigger piece of shit car until I come up with a better idea.

I thought similar. He definitely put some thought into the frame and how it holds the bike.

He's probably out trying to figure out how he can load the horses that way so he can save space for the bikes
