May 11th Private Trackday at US 131 Dragway

here is the new information if you're interested in participating in a private trackday at the dragstrip... $ 50.00 all day.. that evening they start an Open Test and Tune that is open to public if you stay there's another fee for that $ 20.00

all bikes allowed ...
no cars ...

Hope to see some of ya'll there... can't wait... if it's half as much fun as I had with ya'll at the Fireblades event I'll be tickled pink LOL

silver bullet is a good bit aways I believe not sure if he'd travel that far.. but if so I would too....

sonicsbomb might also be there.. he holds the current Fastest ET record for that track...

Gonna be some fast ass bikes for sure.. hopin I can learn from them while I'm gettin my butt beat LOL

Maybe I'll bring the wifes 600 (its the fastest bike in the garage now) 131 is not far from my house.

I'm going to run a few times locally before then, and if I don't embarrass myself too much during the learning curve period then I hope to be there.

It's not that much further of a drive for me than it is to go to Red Bud (Buchanan) which I've done 5 or 6 times over the years.

no worries about embarrasing yourself there.. there will be plenty of other riders who do it just for fun and on old bikes...

I say if you run without stalling at the line you're good to go

I've raced motocross pretty much my entire life but this year will be my first time on a drag strip (on a bike anyway). I am pretty apprehensive about my first race - I'm sure I'll figure it out though.

Bike is getting mapped and dynoed this weekend - only things left before season are the clutch mod and a 4 inch stretch. Can't wait!
