There are several test and tune days scattered here and there, but the above are official race events that I have planned for.

I hope to make Union Grove's Tuesday Night Events.. They host a Womens's Only Bracket Series every Tues.. I did pretty good there last year considering I mostly was still trying to tune the lockup and you could never fully guarantee what I was gonna run LOL... best part is even though it's a test and tune night for everyone - women get in and race for free... can't beat that!

****

Below are a few I'd like to fit in somehow if it were possible:

May
  • Friday 2 - Milan Dragway - Friday Night Heads Up
  • Saturday 18 - Milan Dragway - Drag News Magazine Race
August
  • Friday 1 - Milan Dragway - Friday Nights Heads Up
  • Saturday 2 - Oreily Raceway Park - AMA Prostreet

What is next to Milan Dragway now? We used to run shorttrack next to it (and even further back a TT)

thanks everyone... I am quite excited about this season.. alot of changes to the bike ... we'll see if I got what it takes to run with the big boyz now

I'll have to get around to posting up a thread with the bike's transformation... I'm still waiting for it to come back from RCC Turbo who's doing the rebuild for me.

I'll most def. post updates on this thread with results and schedule changes..

Would love to see some of the old crew trackside if anyone is close by...

Quick Run down of my first passes ever on the new setup wink:

First Pass: 11.8 (couldn't find drag pegs too far back, AMS was not turned on which meant no boost, Missed my shift points due to tire spinning and shift light on entire time - total botched run LOL)

Second Pass: 8.4 (still couldnt' find pegs, short shifted a couple times, and went from side to side entire length of track LOL)

Third Pass: 8.03 (changed AMS setting - track was not holding the larger amount of boost and moved my drag pegs up closer to me and removed toe sliders to give me better traction at the line to steady the bike while leaning forward)

Forth Pass: 8.20 (lot's of tire spin off the line and down the track and discovered my throttle housing kept spinning on me keeping me from getting to full throttle on my runs)

Fifth Pass: 8.27 (better 60 foot time than any other pass but wheelied mid track and somehow lost my windscreen ?? )

Ended the day with the 2nd Fasted ET out of about 40 bikes I think?

After changing out my throttle tube and kill switch housing and checking my clutch for possible adjustments I know I should be in the 7's next time out...

Sorry I was unclear. If you stand on the start line what is in the property to your left (near the finish line beyond the stands)? There was a short track for bikes there a long time ago but I think it is gone. Just curious.

That's pretty good seeing as you're on a brand new bike and you haven't ridden at all in what, 6-7 months? Get it sorted and you'll be at it in no time. Nice job!

Hey E, hope you're okay. Saw that you crashed your turbo 'Busa recently at the strip in Byron, IL and thankfully only broke your finger.

I have to say some of the people logging comments on that site are ignorant, chickenshit assholes. Infuriating.

(I just had to join to express that... wonder how active their mods are? )

Makes me appreciate this one all the more.

Get well soon, Eunice!!

Bummer. That bike sounds mean.

I had a race start go the same way once. Went up, clutched it down, got back in it, straight back up; I wasn't fighting a turbocharged monster and managed to stay on though. I actually have it on video, but it's VHS only...
