Nice! Are you getting a track bike or is the Buellie going to do double duty?

Re: The first Buell Thread

I should use the Ulybagger, it has better suspension and would be a blast to use as a super motard.... has the same feel.

Re: The first Buell Thread

Just kidding of course....

I am keeping the Buell completely bone stock, except for the bags. It is my commuter and tour bike. I will never bring it on the track, promise to myself and my wife who lovingly (and I do mean that) agreed to two bikes with different purposes.

I need to check the bolts one last time on the bag hardware and I am ready to tour.

The 954 on the other hand, needs work...... I am going to udjust the rear-sets, get rid of the GP shift... I am not fast enough for it to be a difference, get the oil changed, go over it, put on plastics ( not going to paint this season), change the race number, and go out riding.

Re: The first Buell Thread

I wish I were tall enough for the Ulysses. It looks like it could be fun and is thousands of dollars less expensive than the gs series. I still have fond memories of a test ride on a 1200cc Firebolt from a couple years ago.

Oh wow. I have a 32inch and my feet dangled on the 2006 I sat on. Did you get the 'low' seat?

Crazy as it is no, I got the lower seat and hated it. Here is the reason why. While not thinking about this. If I lower the seat by almost 3 inches, I am also lowering the room from seat to foot peg by the same amount. Was not able to "stretch out" on the bike and be comfortable.

So I kept the tall one and will work with what it gives me.

here is the ULYBAGGER

Wanna come out to NW Indiana in early spring and help me set the bike up? Cheap place to stay, good food, and cold beer. You and Abtech can make a weekend of it......

Cold beer...don't tempt me. I'm not really good at fiddlin' with all those adjustments, but I'm sure you'll have lots of help at our Grattan event if you need it...

You're calling my Buell ugly, when you ride a track bike that looks like a one-hitter crack pipe?

Re: The first Buell Thread

I never thought about it before, but "track bike" nearly rhymes with "crack pipe."

Coincidence?
