BMW R1200GS Sargent seat...

I love it, my butt loves it, what else can I say?

Riding over 100 miles in a row on the OE seat (even with it's multitude of positions) would offer hotspots and the need to stand up and re-sit myself frequently. Since this bike was pretty much bought with the intent of doing multiples of that mileage per day, it was no suprise I sought replacement quick.

This isn't any sort of customized model, with funky features (like custom color scheme, heat, etc.) it's just their standard unit with black covering, silver piping, and the BMW M tricolor in the front middle saddle.

Just thought I'd share...

With 3 GPS's, your wife will never buy the excuse "I got lost on some backroads" to extend your trip.

Oh the irony ...the first multi-day trip we took up into Vt. on a planned route of all backroads and dirtroads/fireroads/etc. I got up the morning of the departure and was running late, so I just plugged in the GPS's and loaded (what I thought was the right) .gpx file into my software and said "load it" to all units, not paying close attention to what was going on.

I got about 15 miles into my route before I realized I just erased all the mapping, saved routes, etc. on my unitS and replaced all the data with some POI's near the destination to get around an area where the road/bridge was out. I was a little upset, to say the least...

Which tank bag did you go with? I've never been a fan of them, but how do you like it?

I'm deciding b/n a tank bag with a clear top, or finding a handlebar mount for my VIO cam unit.
