Thought I'd share another one, this one from my past collection;
1996 RS250 Biaggi "Silver Bullet". One of 300 built to commemorate Biaggis success in the early 90's. This was followed by the 96-97 run of 600 Chesterfield models (black & red). I've only seen a handful of other silver ones in the USA. This one was brought in through Japan by a State Dept guy who got it licensed in CA.
Probably the best handling bike I've ever ridden. That massive frame is magnesium, so it corners like a 125GP bike, but I had Biganski work the engine so it make 64rwhp, and they only weigh 310lbs. The Challenge Cup bikes brought in from 98-up actually had better suspension and wider front rim, but the body became more functional and gave up aesthetics.
Mine was mint, and I turned down an hefty cash offer from a German collector who saw it at Laguna Seca WSBK in 2000. But sadly, I had to part with it when business capital needs dictated in 2001, and it went to another collector in the Bay Area who IIRC has a Lucky Strike RGV250, Rothmans NSR250, etc.
Riding a 2 stroke on the street is a love/hate relationship though...and to save weight this had a kick starter. God help you if you flood it or try to start it on cold mornings...
Posted my Duc Superlight in the other section...that concludes my show and tell. My other bikes have been more utilitarian but fun bikes, CBR, VFR, etc.
