    I hope that makes it to grattan this year.

    on a side note what is the gearig on that thing? 14-40? or does it run a 15 tooth front?

    If I make it to Grattan, it will too. Gearing is 16/46, actually.

    I've decided to give it a go in the next round of racing in the LW Twins class, against the SV650's and the like. Should be lots of fun!

    That is an awesome idea, no joke, that sounds like it would be a blast. What is the displacement limit in that class? Would a KTM 690 make it in?
    ...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

    • Up to 565cc four cylinder four stroke, three or more valves per cylinder
    • Up to 750cc four cylinder four stroke, two valves per cylinder, air cooled
    • Unlimited displacement two cylinder, air cooled, two-valve per cylinder four stroke
    • Up to 650cc three cylinder four stroke
    • Up to 750cc two cylinder three valve
    • Up to 700cc two cylinder four valve
    • Unlimited displacement two stroke, air cooled
    • Up to 125cc single cylinder two stroke, water cooled
    • Up to 250cc two stroke, water cooled, if frame is manufactured for street use in North America

    Okay, so it would make it.

    Too bad about the street frame requirement for the 250's. An RS250 would be fun.
