Hi everyone! Crash has assisted me in some paint ideas for my 06 600RR racebike. I am having trouble deciding, so if you all can voice which one you like it might help me out! Here they are! Thanks so much Crash, you have some amazing ideas man!

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

How about that bottom one with the colors reversed?

I like #3 as is. The others are good, but the curves of the different colors remind me of the Corona bikes for some reason.

I like the last one. The yellow stands out more there.

Very cool work. #3 is best for me, I like the special branding on that one. The more yellow bikes would stick out more in pictures though.

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

Hey Crash, any chance of seeing what it would look like reversing the black and yellow? Just wondering what that would look like! I'm a pain in the ass, I know this!

Sure, I'll get on that in a bit. In the midst of a proposal at work and I'm heading to the mountains this weekend. So if you don't see anything by this afternoon, Monday is your day

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

I'm feeling #3 as well. Mostly cuz I'm a sucker for back, but also if you dump your bike, that sceme looks the easiest to fix.

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

They all rock... if I had to pick one i'd say #3.

If I had skills like crash I would probably mix in the side fairings from #1 (with the BB and MCMLXXIV) into the #3.... Keeping it mostly black.

How would the BB looked reversed on the other side of the bike though?

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

Hey

Sorry about the delay here, Busy pretty busy

Here is the third scheme in reverse. Should be a shock for most of you who thought that it was yellow. The initial request was to have it be orange, the problem with orange is that in different lighting, it can appear yellow. However, per your last post, yellow version is there also.

Anyway. It came more pixelated than I wanted it to, I can fix that, but you get the general idea of flipping the colors.

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

If I tell you can you keep it a secret?

Photoshop and some Illustrator.

Wait till you see what I'm doing for Quick26. For the CBR 1000 I figured out some new tricks to make the bodywork look much more realistic.

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

I've chosen # 3, the graphics have been emailed to my painter as of this morning, I'll post up the finished product as soon as it's done!

Thanks crash, you'll have a mention in all this when I get everything together. You do some amazing work!

Re: Need your input on paint scheme!

You are more than welcome!

Do you need a graphic of the Logo, or are you okay with what's there, or will you not use it? Let me know because I can supply a larger version of it that your painter can use for a template.

graphic would be great, he said he can probably get everything off the photo, but I think a graphic would help! Thanks!
