Going Racing!

Today I am proud to officially announce that I will be joining Brad and the BGPR Schools team to race in my rookie season in 2008 with the CMRA and EMRA. Brad and his crew, with their schools and track nights have played a huge role in my continuing development as a track rider and I feel proud and fortunate to have the opportunity to join them as a racer.... Can't wait.

I won't have my motorcycle ready for this weekend's double-header round but if the stars align I might be able to slip in for the round 3 make-up next month.

Many wordy posts to follow... stay tuned if you're really bored.

Re: Going Racing!

Nice!!! Congrats.

Are you going to come all the way down to Ft. Worth to race at MotorSport Ranch - Performance Car Country Club with cmra or are you going to chicken out like TornadoB8 and start using excuses like "it's too far" or "I'm racing something else that same weekend" and stuff like that? It should only take you three or four weeks to drive down here...

You'll do well, Phobe. And if you take it too seriously, Jessie will kick your ass.

Come on down. Plenty of room and garage space. Is that the "Canuk Motorcycle Racing Asociation"?

Re: Going Racing!

Having a group or team to hit races with will be great for you. I went racing alone at first, and it was nowhere near as fun as pitting with a group.

Re: Going Racing!

Congrats man, You'll do well for sure.

I can second the racing with a group bit. Nothing is more lonely than being out there by yourself on race weekends. The waits are killer and you have no outlet for your energy in between races.

Good Luck
