He's only getting up to 91mph? Phobe's 125 can even hit 70mph.

The right grip.

All you have to do is go a bit more than 12MPH faster...everywhere.

Re: WERA Grattan lap times

I've never been concerned about my lap times. Rather, I've been concerned about staying out of everyone else's way. I've read about times you fast guys do at Grattan and wish for the skills you have, but this is mindboggling!

Track days? 1:27s on good laps. My best time at Grattan was on my 93 TZ at 1:23 and change in a race. Most times on the 929 I was running in the 24s to 26s in a race. I was one of the slow experts in GLRRA, as the top 4 in just about every class were right around 1:20 to 1:21.

Re: WERA Grattan lap times

On the RC I methodically worked my way down from 1:30 highs, 1/2 to 1 second a session, until my last session was a bunch of 1:30.xxs, with a 1:31 avg including my cold tire lap and a lap held up by a yellow Zook.

My first time at Grattan, on my 929, I did 28s the first day, but I rode often back then.

Bah, it was a trackday, no need to do anything to make anyone nervous. The RC has plenty of mojo for most if I just wait for the front straight.

Yeah...I was leaving at least a second in that damn sweeper...never got around to really working on it. I did finally get the Bus stop right towards the end.

Stupid back. I'm not going to touch Batey, but could have been a competetive whack-packer with a little more time on the track (and maybe 30-40 more hp).
