I just got home and I have to say he is tearing it up, I have no doubt that you will see him place in the top 5-8 tomorrow.

He dropped over 3 seconds today and is now consistently running in the 33's.

He was painting my track bodywork for the bike BTW... and it looks AMAZING.

Definately have to get an entry form for the bling bike contest this year.
    See you at GRATTAN

Very nice indeed!!! And if you consider you're not only Canadian, but French-Canadian, then that makes it borderline amazing.

    VERY COOL!!!

I find it ironic that the picture has #81 getting the front up off the line and he made it two laps is then DNF. Unlike your awesome finish from behind him

...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Nicely done! Almost like you know what your doing.

Seriously though, good run. Planning on doing this more often now?

    Too bad about Efram though.

Man was it FUN! I went to a National just for the experience and with no expectation! The guys I ride with that do nationals are usually finishing no better than 20th. Finishing 4th on a stock bike is something I'm quite proud. It was quite interesting to look at the top 5 bikes in tech after the race. Mine was the only one with stock suspensions, and no sponsors. I had it dyno at 106.9hp on the series Dyno (The limit in our class is 118).

I had a good start and did pass some guys in the race. Going to the gym this winter reallllllllllly helped. The race was 14 laps and I could have done more. By mid-race my mouth was filled with a paste I can't explain though .

I had the time of my life. My mom was there too!! She told me she was crying when she saw us getting in turn 1 after the start .

    What a rush!

Here's a picture from the series web site during race.

GRATTAN HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy nothing happened at the race! I was really concerned about that. There's another round in Alberta during Grattan and a few guys told me I should go, and already got offers to help me. I told them I had something more important that week

Ho, and btw, Honda sucks big time this year. No contingency what so ever this year. Kawasaki and Suzuki would have gave me 1500$ for my 4th place......

Yeah...... Even though he's still only 14, he's an amateur running a bike probably worth 40,000$ with the support of a Factory team..... I'm very proud to be that close to him

I arrived Saturday night so I missed practices and qualification but I was there for the race..... OMG! the place was jam-packed!! We're usually about 30-ish trailers very spread out over the paddock....So just seeing the paddock ALL jam-packed was sureal....with loud music and people everywhere, bleachers full of spectators, we didn't HAVE bleachers!! sportscasters and TV Cameras!!!
So that was a big deal.
    Very nerve wracking.

Maybe cuz his mom was there, I suddently wasn't the nerviest one, she was. But she did very good. It,s so hard sometimes even as a wife, I cannot imagine as a mom!!!
That helped me a lot to have her with me and explain to her what she wanna know about...that distract my nervousness!
We watch the race from the slowest turn....easier!
The start and the first lap is always the worst to watch...when E took his place in the head pack we were so excited!! He kept it up all the way to the end....
    AWESOME JOB!
    We were OH-SO proud!
He gave us so much emotions....from fear to proud, by excitment and so on...!!!
    Such a rush!

He surprises me everytime...He got all my respect for doing this and doing it so well. All that with a stock bike!!!

So that was THE event so far in terms of official ranking position but
THE event for us over all categories, is GRATTAN...I just ca't wait to see you all!!!

I think I'm going to peal off the bike the Honda sticker I made myself this week. I don't see why I'd advertise anything for them right now.

Honda has always been stingy with contingency money.

Jeez, I've only got a couple of weeks to come up with some good excuses as to why a dude on a stock 600 is kicking my butt, when I'm riding a not-exactly-stock 1098S.
